Location Tracking in THAREJA
Time Tracker mobile app by THAREJA uses GPS data to track your team's locations. This feature allows you to view your current and past locations. The app records locations when a user is tracking time using mobile app and it only records time and location information means it does not record screenshots, activity levels, apps & URLs.
Important notes:
- Background app refresh and location services must be enabled on mobile to track locations.
- In order to track locations,
- Cellular data must be enabled on mobile if wi-fi is not available.
Setting up the Mobile application
1. Tap on the App Store or Play Store in your mobile.
2. Search Time Tracker by Thareja into the search bar. Download and install the application.
3. Once the app has been installed on your mobile, you are ready to start tracking your time.
4. Open the app and log in.
Ideally your manager has set up projects and given you access to some or all of those projects. You should always select the project that you are currently working on, as these projects will be reflected in your reports in the THAREJA web interface.
Viewing Location Maps
Only organization owners and managers have access to view the location data of team members. If you have team member access, you’ll get to see your location data only.
STEP 1. Navigate to Locations > Map from the left side navigation.
You will get to see where user's location on map while they are tracking time.
You can click on the member name in the right side bar whose location you want to see on map.
Note: The map will keep showing a user's last recorded location only until the location is updated and the location is only updated if the user starts tracking time on a different location.
