THAREJA Projects Overview
It's easy to create and manage your projects in THAREJA. Projects are used to organize the work your team will track their time against.
After creating an organisation, firstly you will have to create projects and assign them to your team members, or yourself. Your team won’t be able to track any time unless they are assigned to a project, so this step is important. You can also assign a specific budget to a project.

Creating Projects
Open Projects page from the left-side navigation bar, you will be landed on the project listing page. Then click on Add Project button given at the top right corner.
Add Project popup will appear to fill in the following details:
1. Organization: It's the name of the organisation to which you are going to add this project.
2. Project Name: This will be the title of the project.
3. Key: It's a unique key to every project.
4. Client: Here you will get a list of all the clients added to the same organisation and you can select which client you want this project to be added for.
5. Further you can select a Start Date and Due Date for the Project.
6. Project Manager: Here you will get a list of all the users added to the organisation. Select the person who will manage your project as a project manager.
7. Users: Here you will get the list of all users to add to the project.
8. Group: Here you will get a list of all the Groups created in the organisation.
9. QA Lead: Select the person you want to add as the QA LEAD of the project. QA lead is responsible for assessing services and products to ensure that quality standards are met.
10. Project Description: As the name indicates, you can write the project description here.
11. Billable: If you want to track the time spent on the project, and bill it to the client just enable it.
Once all the fields are filled, clickCreate New Project.
You will be redirected to the project listing page and the project created by you will be visible at the top of the list.
Editing a Project
STEP 1. Open the Projects page from the left side navigation to get the listing of projects.
STEP 2. Just open the Actions menu for the project you want to edit and click Edit Project.
STEP 3. After clicking Edit project you will get the following popup to edit these details. Just edit the values and click Save.
You will get a notification saying Project successfully edited!
Editing project details from the project detail page
STEP 1. Just open a project from the list by clicking on its name.
STEP 2. You will be redirected to the project page where you will see the Project information tab showing that project data.
STEP 3. Just click on the pencil icon given on the section that you want to edit and you can update these details as per your requirements.
Where to find archived projects
STEP 1. Open the Projects page from the left side navigation to get the listing of projects.
STEP 2. Choose Archived in sort by project type filter and you will get a listing of all the archived projects.
Restoring an archived project
Note: Only archived projects can be restored.
The process for restoring a project is quite similar to the above process.
STEP 1. Select Archived in the Sort by Project Type filter to get archived projects only in the list.
STEP 2. Open the Actions menu on the project you want to restore and click Restore Project.
Adding client to a project
Note: A project can only have one client associated with it at a time.
A client can be chosen in clients dropdown while creating a project.
Adding client from the project detail page
If you have created a project without a client, it's easy to add a client to a project in THAREJA.
Click View Info in the Actions dropdown and next click on the Project Information tab to open the project detail page.
Now click on theEdit button on Project Details section and then click Select Client to add client to the project.
Once you have chosen the client, click Save.
Duplicating a project
The duplicate project will have exactly the same details and people as that of the original one, it will just have the word "copied" at the end of the project name. Now follow these steps to duplicate a project:
STEP 1. Open Projects page from the left side navigation to get the project list.
STEP 2. Open the Actions menu for the project you want to duplicate and click Duplicate Project.
You will get a notification saying the Project duplicated successfully and the duplicated project will be visible at the top of the project list
Deleting a project
Note: Only a team owner and manager can delete a project and only an archived project can be deleted, not an active one.
Note: Once a project is deleted, all the data recorded on that project including time tracked and to-dos will be permanently removed from the server and can no longer be retrieved.
STEP 1. Open Projects page from the left side navigation to get the listing of projects.
STEP 2. Choose Archived in sort by project type filter and you will get a listing of all the archived projects.
STEP 3. Firstly select Archived projects from the filters and there is an Actions menu at the right end of every list item. Open it and click Delete Project.
STEP 4. After clicking on Delete Project you will get a confirmation box, click OK to confirm and your project will be permanently deleted.
Editing project name and description
Note: Projects can only be edited by the manager and owner.
STEP 1. Open the Actions menu for the project you want to edit and click Edit Project.
STEP 2. After clicking on Edit project you will get the following popup to edit these details. Just edit the values and click on Save.
You will get a notification saying Project successfully edited!
Adding budget to a project
Only the team managers and owner can add or edit project budget.
STEP 1. Open the Actions menu for the project you want to add budget to and click Edit Budget.
STEP 2. The following popup will appear. Just fill in the desired values and click Save.
