Why is my activity or screenshots not being recorded in THAREJA?

This can be due to the required permissions not granted to the desktop application. Please check inside your system settings if the Accessibility, Keyboard Monitoring and Screen Recording permissions are enabled for the client application or not.

For MacOS

It may be possible in some cases that the application does not appear here in any of the lists i.e. Accessibility, Input Monitoring and Screen Recording to enable the permissions for it.

In that case you can manually add the application to the list by following these steps and enable the permissions:

STEP 1. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility / Input Monitoring / Screen & System Audio Recording and then click on this + sign.

STEP 2. Then go to your installed applications and select the application to be added to the list.

Now you can grant permissions to the app and it will start recording your activity.

For Windows

Windows protects “Input monitoring” under Keyboard and Other devices permissions. To allow an app in Windows to record keyboard and mouse activity, you need to adjust Privacy & Security settings. Here’s the correct and safe way:

Open Settings > Go to Privacy & Security > App Permissions and check these sections:

• Keyboard

• Input

• Screen capture

• Other devices

If your application appears in any of these lists → Toggle permission ON
