What happens if I run out of tokens?

A monthly allowance of 3,000,000 tokens is quite generous, giving most customers far more capacity than they typically need. For context, many users stay well below that level in normal workflows, so you should have ample headroom for long conversations, document analysis, and iterative drafts throughout the billing cycle.


To help you manage usage, we’ll notify you as you approach the limit and again if you hit it. Alerts are delivered in-app and may also be sent by email depending on your notification settings, so you’ll have time to adjust workloads, switch models, or streamline prompts before your balance is depleted.


If you do exhaust your monthly tokens, your access may pause until the next cycle renews. If you need to keep working immediately, contact Support to purchase additional tokens for the month. They can review your plan, explain add‑on options, and suggest optimization tips so you can stay productive without unexpected interruptions.
