Can I switch, add or remove models during a chat?

Yes, you can choose which AI model to use and switch models at any time without losing your chat history. When you change models mid‑thread, all prior messages and outputs remain exactly as they are; only future replies in that conversation will come from the newly selected model. If you remove a model from your workspace, your existing transcripts and attachments stay intact and accessible.

You can also set a preferred default model for new chats, then override it per thread whenever you need different capabilities. This flexibility is helpful if, for example, you draft with a creative model and then switch to a more deterministic model for fact‑checking or formatting, all within the same conversation.
